I could not resist this roses box card at the Silhouette Design Store by Snapdragon Snippets. Originally posted as a Valentines Day romantic vase containing a dozen deep, dark red roses, I lightened it up to use as a Thank You card and I had a blast making it! The directions at the Needlesnknowledge blog are terrific and the pictures are really well done. This card is a bit complex and I deeply appreciate the time and energy that went into the instructions. I used a variety of patterned papers, mostly from SEI, and I used Distress Inks with a blending tool to do the shading. The "Thanks" is a Silhouette cut file from Jamie Koay. This was a lot of fun! I do love my Silhouette Cameo.
